We enjoyed working with Tim and his team all the way from the early feasibility study to the completion of our project. This was a matter of several years, due to slow decision-making on our part and then covid! Tim was always collaborative, patient and helped us to navigate a number of things we hadn't expected. We're really pleased with how the renovation turned out. Before renovating, we rarely used the ground floor of our house. It was cold and dark, the layout made little sense for us, and we felt disconnected from the garden. Now, with the small extension and extensive reconfiguration, we feel like we've gained the use of a whole extra third of our house. Our favourite part has to be our open plan living area with double height space. Both floors are now flooded with light, and have a lovely sense of space and connection to the garden.

We arrived to Nimtim with clear needs and desires, a specific budget and plenty of limitations. From the start we felt like it was a perfect match. They were able to draw up a clear vision that aligned seamlessly with ours, find creative solutions to every problem and address every little concern we had. They were super professional during the whole process, attentive to all the fine detail, always available and helpful during that tedious process. We felt like we were working with good friends who definitely had our back to make our dream home come true. Our house now matches our every wish and we absolutely love it.

We have used Nimtim (Nimi, Tim and their young team based on South East London) on 3 separate projects, and in each case they were incredibly creative, thoughtful, and mindful of what we needed. They do things simply when simple works best, but are totally unafraid of proposing bold and innovative solutions if they think its the best outcome. These are always presented collaboratively as options to work through, and in each case has taken us beyond what we thought was possible. They are lovely people and it is a great company. Highly recommend and I am very glad we came across them. They also help with design elements (materials, finishes) if you want them to as well, which i understand is unusual (and our us a big positive). All of their ideas on paper have translated really well into what works for builders/engineers, for planning authorities, and real life as great houses to live and feel happy in.
