I have been with them over 35 years… Dr. Selvanathan was my doctor (brilliant). Since he retired the whole surgery has become a shambles.. I WANT to change doctors now as I’m so dissatisfied…. Paramedics or pharmacists are the only people you eventually get to talk to, ( if your lucky ) who can’t issue a prescription without a doctor…. Never any face to face & even if you start ringing at 7.59am your lucky to get an answer by 8.30 😡😡 What’s the point???? COMPLETE & UTTER SHAMBLES OF A DOCTORS

There should be an option for zero stars because that is what this GP practice deserve. I have nothing against the doctors. However the reception staff all need to be retrained or dismiss if they don't value their job. Lack of compassion. Poor communication. Lack of empathy. No professionalism. They don't even try to pretend that they care. You can be standing there waiting to be acknowledge while they are busy laughing and talking to their colleagues ignoring you. Don't rely on them to follow through with referrals because they couldn't care less. Don't bother to even make a complain because every time you ask to speak with a manager or the person in charge of the team that day, their response is always "there is no one in charge on site." Having an acute problem, good luck getting an appointment. "we don't do on the day appointments with the doctors anymore." You cannot even book a 48 hours appointment. By the time you do manage to get an appointment, the problem is either resolve or you had to go to A&E for something that should have been dealt with in the community! It is like the reception staff are pre program to say, "I am sorry but there is nothing I can do." I went to enquire about an important scan that the doctor requested a month ago. Rang the GP on the 23rd march told definitely it was sent and that I need to ring the hospital directly to enquire. Rang the hospital on the 27th March and was told the last referral they had from my GP was 2019. Obviously this would make anyone annoyed. I went to the practice and could not get an explanation but was told that I am more than welcome to contact THEIR secretary team to find out what went wrong. Yes, I as a patient need to do their job. Dr Selvanathan is well missed. Not saying the surgery was perfect before but it was no way as bad as it is now. It is such a shame because the clinicians I believe really do their best. What makes it even more appalling is the patients voices are not being heard. There has being alot of complain about the reception staff at this practice but nothing is being done to improve the service. There should be some petition to get the reception team revamp. I do not see them improving unless something drastic happen leading to high level investigation. It really hurts me when people don't consider others feelings. Everyone uses a GP practice and I am certain none of them would appreciate being treated the way they treat patients.

Moved to this surgery over a year ago as I was dissatisfied with the poor service at my previous surgery. I can honestly say this practice is first rate, helpful, friendly reception staff, brilliant triage service, fantastic doctors and the resident paramedic. Highly recommend.

This used to be such an amazing practice when it was run by Dr Salvanathan. I have been with this practice for 14 years and stayed with them even when I moved to Catford because Dr Salvanathan was so amazing. However, now he has retired the place is being run terribly. Appointments are remote, and you don’t even get to speak to a doctor, only a paramedic. I finally after 3 days of my daughter being ill managed to get an appointment and the GP was dismissive, brash, totally unsympathetic and didn’t listen to anything I said. She has had severe chickenpox and I asked if there could be any chance of her also having Strap A or Scarlett Fever that has been going round and the GP said “that would be like having two bombs on a bus”!!!!! How inappropriate and rude (but not medically correct!) I will be changing GPs.

Avoid avoid avoid No professionalism, no transparency. I phoned the surgery to make an appointment with a GP for my toddler as she was unwell and was given an appointment with a paramedic without even being informed about it until I got to the reception for the appointment. Second bad experience was when I booked 2 vaccines for my daughter on the same day, I took a day off from work for that and the appointment has been cancelled by the surgery without informing me. I phoned and went to speak to them and they said that they cancelled my daughter's appointment a day before and forgot to inform me about it.

The doctors are great and very friendly unfortunately the receptionist are completely rude I was first in the line to call at 8am and the woman who answered told me they do not have any phone appointment for 2day but can book me in for NEXT Friday ! Completely rude and they also ask why I want to book a appointment which is going against data protection laws! The receptionist are way to iner on peoples business. Due to data protection I will not be stating names but I have written a formal complaint regarding the data protection that they DO NOT FOLLOW!
