Nicola was our doula for the pregnancy and birth of my fifth baby. This was during the first lockdown of 2020 and I can honestly say, despite my ‘experience’ of childbearing her cool, calm and collected support was invaluable in such an uncertain time. This was my partners first child and first experience of pregnancy and supporting a partner through labour, the information she provided was really well explained, including all the important parts he needed to know in order to support me best. During labour Nicola knew just what I needed and also when we needed our own space, she did a perfect job of being there without it feeling like she was there at all. She is great at adapting what she offers and knowing what it is you need. Thank you Nicola!

Can’t recommend Nicola enough. If anyone is on the fence about getting a doula for their pregnancy, do it. It is the best investment you will ever make. Nicola was a great source of support, knowledge and calm during my pregnancy, while I was in labour & in the hospital. My partner and I learnt a lot during the antenatal sessions we had and the post natal session after our son was born was lovely and provided a lot of closure after my emergency caesarean. If there is any point in life where you & your partner need some extra emotional support and compassion, it’s during pregnancy & this is what Nicola provided for us. 💓
