For a wedding treat I decided I wanted a fully bespoke suit to wear. Searching for various tailors on Saville Row I drew a blank, until I stumbled across Nicholas’ business card at my barbers. I immediately gave Nicholas a call and talked about what I was looking for, excited by this opportunity I arranged a meeting to discuss my ideas. It was nearly a year later (to coincide with my wedding) that I finally got to start the process. My 3 piece suit, a combination of fully bespoke jacket and trousers and semi bespoke waistcoat was about to become reality. Being an engineer I wanted to be able to follow the process to know how a tailored suit is made. Nicholas gave me the opportunity to watch the process. After being measured he talked me through how he strikes and cuts the patterns and explained all of the steps in the process. During the whole experience he answered all of my questions explaining the intricacies of the process. I got to choose every detail of my suit and Nicholas provided guidance and advice on various design ideas. Fast forward to my final fitting and it was so exciting to be able to finally wear a suit that was formed from my ideas. The suit fitted perfectly and the quality of workmanship was outstanding, far beyond anything shop brought. With Nicholas being trained on Saville Row, it was clear the level of ability and skill that he has worked hard to achieve. On my wedding day my suit got absolutely tonnes of compliments and it was great to be able to share my experience and tell my friends and family about it all. Nicholas is incredibly talented and a really nice guy to talk to and work with. Whenever I visited, I felt very relaxed and was reassured that he would give me his honest opinion to my ideas and questions. I’d recommend Nicholas to anyone looking for a bespoke suit, that will last for years. I really look forward to being able to repeat the process again in the future. I found Nicholas though a mutual contact. I met him at his studio in Northamptonshire, an impressive place! We met again on Savile Row and went though cloth samples to select for a two-piece navy suit for a wedding. I knew roughly what I wanted however he reassured me of the versatility what I was was attempting, (a good part of the service I felt). We went through the made-to-measure options, which was great to see his experience of what was appropriate for my kind of suit. When the suit came back I was very pleased buy the look of the cloth and the cut was perfect in my view. I will definitely be returning for additional jackets in the future, highly recommended! I have bought many suits over 25 years... but never a tailor made one. It was about time, and I was lucky enough to be invited to Buckingham Palace for an event... I'd heard good things about Nicholas, and had met him over a coffee previously as he is a great chap, known in the business community as a people person, one that cares and always game for a chat. I decided to have a proper chat to see what could happen... I was out of my comfort zone and a bit nervous that I should know what to do... but he put me immediately at ease. No question was too daft, no query too annoying. I wasn't rushed, had all the choice in the world, and we quickly built a one off special suit that I could wear to a fancy do, work or a wedding. Nicholas knew I wanted to get as much wear as possible out of this, and helped me with my choices to maximise the use. I felt so pampered!!! The work was done quicker than I thought, and only needed one fitting after initial construction... it fits like a glove and I feel a million bucks in it. My wife says I need to buy at least one a year from him now, and I will. Thoroughly recommended, utterly brilliant product, service and knowledge. Service: Design

I visited Nicholas to design a semi-bespoke suit for my wedding. This was my first time visiting a tailor to make a suit, normally I pick them up from the high street. From start to finish the process was excellent. There’s a lot to consider when creating a suit, from the choice of cloth, to the fit, colour of the stitch and number of buttons. Nicholas made this straightforward and interesting, guiding me through to create something perfect not only for my wedding day but for years to come. Nicholas also went the extra mile to help me with my other sartorial decisions including recommendations for where to get shoes and what tie would complement the outfit. Whilst it is more expensive than my usual suits from the high street, this is clearly not just a suit from the high street. It fits me perfectly and the materials are of a far higher quality, all chosen by me. Nicholas has also said he’ll take it in for an annual MOT. If that means it lasts me forever then you can’t beat the value for money. I couldn’t recommend Nicholas Simon Tailoring more highly. Nicholas is an expert who is clearly passionate about what he does and makes the process easy and productive. I am already planning my next suit! Service: Design
