  My old pond was in desperate need of a bit of TLC.. well a lot!! Matt and his team did an amazing job... from the consultation to completion - all very professional and knowledgeable - they absolutely transformed it. When they were done... they cleaned up so well you wouldn't even know they had been there. Have to give a special mention to Arthur the poodle, who also did a fab job of keeping our greyhound entertained... Nice Ponds are a must if you thinking about getting or making over a pond.

  From start to finish Matt and the team at NicePonds have been perfect. I’ve been thinking about a wildlife pond for a while to encourage biodiversity and more insects into my garden. I am so glad I found the NicePonds website. Quite simply Matt and his team turn up when they say they will, are utterly professional and friendly and do a fantastic job Matt is really knowledgeable and it is clear he cares. He follows up his work and will respond to queries after the job is done. I now have an amazing wildlife pond that even in October I can sit by and enjoy. My neighbours have pond envy-they also commented on how lovely and hard working everyone was. Roll on Spring and hopefully tadpoles and dragonflies!

  Matt and the team provided a professional service and communication was excellent. The end result is amazing, everything we were hoping for, the Reflection Pool is now back to its former glory with the filter working correctly, the pool completely cleaned out and the algae that had started forming on the surface gone. We definitely recommend the company.

  I moved house recently to a garden with quite a bit of hard landscaping. I did not need all these various patios/seating areas. The garden despite some lovely flowers beds just felt lifeless. I decided a pond may improve it and contacted Matt to build a pond that would be good for wildlife as well as having a few goldfish. Matt explained everything in detail and his advice was really helpful. Throughout the project Matt and his team kept me completely up to date with what they were doing. Matt and his team were punctual, polite and extremely knowledgeable. They worked hard even in pouring rain. They certainly went the extra mile When the project was finished they cleaned up so you could not tell they'd been. I've never known anyone tidy up so well. The pond is amazing and my garden feels so much more alive. I also had Matt plant up the pond and I'm so glad I did - it looks so natural. I cannot recommend Nice Ponds enough.

  We moved into a new property and inherited an outdated, leaking pond with a number of mature Coy. The pond wasn’t deep enough for the fish to thrive and the pumps were outdated. Matt and the team did an incredible job of making the pond deeper, installed a new tough liner, created areas for the fish to shelter, installed a modern skimmer, waterfall, rockery, and planting. The pond looks incredible, the water quality has improved immensely and is crystal clear. They’ve transformed an old shabby pond into something that we love spending time around. The team were an absolute pleasure to deal with, and to have around the house throughout the project. They’re knowledgeable, polite, and have a great sense of humour. They also worked really hard through some appalling weather, without slowing down. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the team, and we’ll continue to see them as we’ve asked them to provide on going maintenance services to keep the pond in perfect condition.

  Our experience with Matt and Dylan was very good. They talked through the project, adapted plans to the terrain issues, were on time, professional and friendly. The new pond looks great - see photos - and we look forward to when it is fully established with planting and wildlife. We wanted a natural look, wildlife accessible pond with a waterfall and a bog garden and that is what was created, on time and built into the previous rockery area.

  Our pond was 25yrs old, very neglected and overgrown and in desperate need of work! We found NicePonds online, liked their work so chose them to do a complete makeover. Matt and Dylan did an amazing job and we are highly delighted with the result. They were polite and considerate whilst working, reliable despite a few weather issues and very professional throughout. I've attached before and after photos although in the before photo you cannot really see the pond which shows just what state it was in! We are loving the pond, stream and waterfall and would definitely recommend them.

  We had an area of our front garden which was rather sterile and unloved, and decided that a pond with a waterfall would transform it. During research we found the Nice Ponds web site and contacted them, looked at some of their work, discussed what we wanted in general and accepted their quotation. A beautiful Ecosystem pond with rock surround and waterfall descending from a new rockery, together with aquatic plants has resulted. It looks spectacular and far exceeded our expectations. It blends in with the surroundings, totally natural, and as though it has always been there. Matt and his team are very talented and their work is of a very high standard. We would have no hesitation in recommending their services to any project, large or small.

  I've had my pond almost a year now and it's a delight every single day. Matt built a beautiful waterfall cascading into a lovely big pond edged with rocks & pebbles. It's such a natural looking feature & clearly the local wildlife love it too. Matt and Josef worked really hard to create this, keeping us informed of what was going on & suggesting plants etc. I'd recommend Matt's work to anyone. And I'd definitely recommend having some underwater lights, there's a whole little city going on if you go out and watch in the dark!

Everything about our own pond refurbishment project was fully explained in advance and then delivered on-time. The level of skill displayed by the team is exceptional and they do genuinely care about the end result and making sure there is minimal disruption during the construction phase - would happily recommend Matt to anyone.
