  5* because the NiceMove crew who moved all our stuff on the day were brilliant. Ian, Andrew and Jordan were great to deal with, super-professional, fast (but also careful with our stuff), and just a really nice group of people to deal with on what is a pretty stressful day (we were sell&buy, with a chain). Just a few things to be aware of either side of the big day itself, especially if you’re planning on using NiceMove’s boxes... You’ll pay a non-refundable charge for the delivery of boxes (which are mostly re-used from other moves); you’ll also pay a sizeable deposit (>£100) on the boxes until they’re emptied and returned (and you’ll have to chase, and be ready to wait, to get it back); they will hold you to your original quote no matter what, so consider carefully what services you're asking for (we ended up dismantling our own bedframe & the kids’ bunkbeds in the end, as they had been tricky to build in the first place and, when it came down to it, it just seemed too risky to leave them for the moving crew to do on the morning of the move… But even with a few days’ notice they wouldn’t knock off the dismantling costs). Brilliant on the day of the move though, and that’s the reason it’s all 5*.

  This is the second time i have used Nicemove and they were kind enough this time to help me with a long distance move from Cumbria to Somerset. Tracy in the office has been so available to answer any queries and to facilitate my move, even though date changes meant the original dates were unavailable. Tracy found a solution of using the company storage for a week in the middle, which worked out much better! The men who did the removals were ultra efficient and polite and loaded up in just a few hours, even through a particularly smelly day in Wigton! I honestly can not recommend this company enough, and to top it off the rates are also very reasonable.

And the team on the day, Earle, Mike and Andrew, were fantastic. Nothing was too much for them and it was a completely smooth process.   Excellent service, from speaking to Tracy on the phone, my first impression was made, and I wanted to use them, to Tracy visiting, she was so helpful and approachable, to the 3 gents carrying out the removal. One gent was new, and was wanting to know all about the job, he was enjoying it so much he said, the others showed him the ropes, top tips on the best way to move items, and they all worked together efficiently. Gosh they work hard, it wasn’t classed as a big move, but they never stopped, such hard heavy lifting, they deserve a medal, they even helped me with rearranging, and were just brill, helpful and courteous. I hope they get plenty of days off (and a raise😬) as it really is hard work for them. My move was a temporary one, and will definitely be using Nicemove for my next. Competitive prices also. Thank you.

  Fantastic experience at every stage. Affordable price, and Tracy made it clear exactly what was going to happen on the day so we were prepared. Our removal team, Jordan and Ryan, were polite and professional and cracked on as soon as they arrived. All of our furniture was handled with care and well packed to protect it during transit. We opted for the temporary storage option, and we’re confident our belongings are being well looked after until we move into our new place.
