I've made several donations here, initially for the Covid-19 antibodies treatment programme, and then later for the plasma for medicines programme. Staff are friendly and relaxed making the whole process stress free. Note that donating plasma takes longer than regular whole blood donation, so be prepared to spend over an hour here. Note that there is no car park on site.

Had my first plasma donation today, fantastic experience and well looked after by a truly wonderful NHS team at Kennet Place. If you are considering plasma donation but still unsure, it is an amazing experience and such a selfless act and a great feeling to know you are making such a difference to someone else's life.

Just donated plasma for the first time here and it was a great experience all round. Very well looked after by the whole team throughout the entire process and felt totally fine during and after the donation. Would encourage anyone on the fence to 100% give it a try, you’ll be taken care of by a great team and made to feel relaxed throughout.

Donated plasma for the first time today. 10/10 experience. The initial paperwork is long but that’s because the process was very detailed which gave me a lot of confidence in the system. The healthcare workers were absolutely lovely, answered all my questions, gave me snacks, and made sure I am comfortable. Special shoutout to Sami, who was with me for the whole process and definitely made me less nervous. After the appointment, I felt just fine. I wasn’t dizzy at all and just walked home. 10/10, definitelly recommend and am excited to donate again in the future.
