Thought the service was brilliant. I scored 5/5. Found the lump a month ago, only called my GP on Tuesday. She phoned me first thing Wednesday and referred me. Queensway get a lot of stick but I've always found them to be great. I received the letter Friday morning, with an appt for a couple of weeks time. So I called the breast clinic booking line and left a message to say if they got any cancellations then I'd be willing to attend adhoc. Within two hours I'd received a phone call for an appointment at 3pm that sane day. The service was extremely streamline, professional and courtesious. I felt informed and respected. The result of my scan and mammogram plus the examination was all normal breast tissue. Such a relief and great for it to have happened so quickly. Only comment would have been to possibly have included a sheet to say what was going to happen at the appointment, it only said allow 3 hours. There was a sheet which was relating to covid, but did not have a title. Its possibly been taken from a different department pack.. The second paragraph said if you are showing symptoms not to attend, with no mention of covid. Sone people may take that as breast lumps.. I had to read read it to check. The following paragraph then mentions covid and symptoms.. That sheet should have been titled covid.. Hope this makes sense. The service was brilliant, and in the time of a pandemic I sincerely thank the trust for a truly joined up one stop service. Thank you!!
