If I was able to give a minus score, I would. The POD seems to have been set up solely as a way of p~#sing off as many patients as possible; a barrier almost to them getting their medication both on-time and issued correctly. i have used this service three times now and on each occasion something has gone wrong. Medication WILL take four days, NOT two to reach the pharmacy. Telephone service is a joke. If patients cannot get through they go without their medication. If the service is busy, put another telephone line or three in to help ease the congestion. This new service is a very bad idea and has done nothing to enhance the reputation of an NHS service that is in rapid decline.
