This place has had dealings on my behalf by my GP who finally succeeded in winning on my behalf and also directly from me when they were simply amazing in helping me get my 2nd Covid vaccine, without having to travel over 60 miles away to get one, like 118 expected me to do! You were told to only shop locally, within 5 miles if you could, then tighter restrictions came into place for the NW region, yet 118 expected me to ignore all of this & go outside my region, whilst of course also having to pay for the journey outside my NW region, nevermind local region!!! But thankfully my wonderful CCG got me sorted in a few days & exactly 8 weeks after my 1st vaccine I was able to have my second before I went in hospital just over two weeks later (I had to wait a minimum of 14 days for the procedure after my vaccination) As the Government is taking control of the booster jabs rather than merely using the flu jab lists that GPs have, I am dreading having to deal with 118 again...
