I'm disappointed. As a child I was abused by my mother and the state put me in an orphanage where my childhood was like growing up in a prison. No one cared about us more than feeding us, sending us to school... we never knew the warmth of home, on the contrary, due to our age difference, there was bullying and all kinds of abuse. I've learned to forget time and live in the present, and I'm generally forgetful. Nevertheless, I always liked to help people, and feeling that I could help people filled me with happiness and helped me. When I wanted to start going for blood sampling again after the coronavirus, I was so excited that there was a center nearby. My disappointment came when I could not donate blood plasma due to the fact that I could not remember the date of arrival in the UK, I only said that it was approximately 6 years ago. The people here are amazing and I can't complain about anything. I just couldn't help people for a stupid reason. I am glad that I can help in a different way and also that I help in a different way, as a volunteer in charitable organizations

Clean and bright, and good venue to visit if you are donating blood. Conveniently located on the first floor within Westfield Stratford shopping centre, so you can shop and donate at the same time. Makes a nice change from the pop-up blood donation centres, with advantage of good transport links as well.

I visited this centre yesterday morning. My phlebotomist was lovely Debbie, and thanks to her skilful actions I didn't feel any discomfort. People like Debbie encourage to donate more as it is easy with thoughtful and knowledgeable staff. A receptionist and the rest of the team were very nice as well.

I’m a regular donor - donating every 3 months. I choose Stratford as it’s the easiest for me to get to with loads of parking. You used to get free parking so you can donate blood but now they expect you to pay for it. First you have to take 2-3hrs out of your day, then pay for fuel and now for parking! I mean cmon £6. Soon they going to start charging you if you want to donate blood. Well dear NHS you lost a regular blood donor. Never again!
