I called these ppl after my boyfriend beat me up they informed social and then he sadly took his own life and the social workers moved in and took my kids. I did not neglect them or harm them. My advice to you if you’re in a relationship with domestic violence pls contact a trusted family member or friends. These ppl will not help you infact they will make it worse.

Iv been working with next link now for over a year and a half at the beginning I didn’t have the best support lack of staffing issues due to Covid. Now this has seemed to be sorted the support has been unreal I can not fault Nextlink. Iv been in a woman’s refuge with both my girls and my current support worker goes above and beyond to help me as a family. Iv struggled with my mental health at times to the extreme and Tayah my support worker has helped me so much trough this by giving me some amazing good news Iv wanting for a while that no one else has managed to sort out. She always knows what to write in a text or call to cheer me when I’m having a low day. Nothing seems to much effort she uses all of skills and knowledge to help and she really is one of the best support workers Iv had she’s a real asset to next link.

Extremely bad service. Called up because I was re-directed to them by the national domestic abuse helpline, who told me they could offer outreach support. Whoever it was that I spoke to on the phone sounded like she was 16 years old and was completely useless. when i said I needed help she just suggested I ring back up the helpline and that they couldn’t help me. What a complete joke. No wonder so many women end up dead. Disgusting.

Rigid, disinterested in genuine welfare. Scared of dealing with the actual issues. Strange. Ended up losing my home due to their total lack of interest as well as my family. Lazy and unhelpful. The other reviews are correct. Seem to be scared of dealing with anyone traumatised or abused.

If you are looking for a impartial, professional service that will support you in a traumatic experience then use another charity. They don't call when they say they will and are very unhelpful. Very, very disappointed in the lack of professionalism. Hypocrites.
