What a wonderful place to spend the night whilst sailing with the Visually Impaired Sailing Association. So calm and peaceful, with just the sunset, distant birds, and a handful of other yachts for company. And best of all, the National Trust kindly let us stay for free.

This is a lovely place to drop anchor and chill out for a while. There are mooring boys but there's a small charge, ( and a rib will be round to collect rather quickly) to hook onto these. Once in the creek, the water goes very shall very quickly, our 37ft beneteau scraped the sandbanks a couple of times so be aware. Great place to have lunch and go for a swim, a beautiful location but as such it can get rather busy !!
