Well after hearing about the way they have treated a young child with ASD I am appalled with the way they dealt with the situation. A parent myself with an ASD 4 year this has now made me rethink where May shop when I am in town. Making a mother cry and a child is disgraceful

If your child has extra needs ie Autistic, ADHD, ASD or anything else I wouldn’t take them into this shop. Witnessed a terrible situation today with a young mum and her child, which cld of been avoided but for the absolute ignorance of person working there. He acted appallingly and should be ashamed 😡

Firstly, I do not believe that the owners should be treated in the current way they are being treated with crisps thrown at them however, the owners have been rude to me on several occasions. A couple weeks ago I was in the store and the shop was messy with cardboard everywhere, so I decided I pull the cardboard off the shelf fold it up for them, make it look presentable, I was trying to be helpful. The owner saw me doing this and preceded to tell to get out. I left, now I was very civil about this despite the owners being rude to me, I wanted to help them, and I am trained in retail with four years' experience. I wait outside when my mum goes the buy the lottery. I have not been banned but I do not feel welcome by the rude owner. The owners do talk about customers behind their back before they have even left the store, little hint do not do whilst the customer leaving, it's the hight of rudeness.

Went in to buy something and got told it was cash only, I'd said sorry I don't have cash. As I was walking away i heard them complain about them having a sign that I hadn't read (which I had missed in all honesty as I came in from a different side) and the other said 'well that's Sittingbourne for ya' At least wait until a potential customer leaves before complaining about them. That's the basics in shop work. To be fair a few of the staff are great, which is why I'm surprised at the poor behaviour this time.
