    If you want to drop off a parcel then avoid like the plague. Turned away on three separate occasions due to lack of space. Surely they should not be allowed to provide this service if they cannot fulfil the basic obligation of having enough space to store parcels.

    I would of put no stars but it wouldn’t allow me to. Many times I have tried to use this newsagents and must add only for the purposes of picking up parcels and taking parcels there. Mr Patel has been very abrupt when talking to me on various occasions. One occasion I took a large parcel in and he said they did not have room then allowed another lady to drop of her parcel. Many many times this shop has not had the facility to take in parcels as it is very very small which makes me wonder why Evri allowed this shop to take up a contract with them in such an affluent area sending and receiving parcels on a large scale? Mr Patel on another visit there shouted at me very rudely in front of customers and refused to take my parcel as he said I was rude saying that I would use another facility elsewhere as he had no space. He took offence to this so I gladly left and would never go back there. He tried to belittle me which did not work.

    The owner is the rudest, most arrogant person I have had dealings with. Refuses to accept Amazon returns which left myself and two other customers having to find somewhere else. He told us to go to another place 3 miles away. I feel so sorry for his wife.

    If I could leave 0 stars I would. The owner was extremely disrespectful and unhelpful. I asked for help printing a return label while carrying a bunch or parcels and was rudely told to do it myself despite the machine saying to ask the cashier for assistance. “I don’t care what the machine says” was his response. Ontop of this, he refused to serve me and continued to serve others as if I wasn’t there. I think I should add I am a person of colour in a predominantly white neighbourhood and have never experienced this much disrespect. Nothing about racism was mentioned yet he decided to start screaming he’s not racist and that I am? He’s clearly not feeling too good. Cheeky comments were muttered under his breath and I was left to struggle on my own. I could write an essay on the disrespect I received but to summarise my review, it’s simply not a shop I’d give my money to if I were you. Save yourself some coin and walk a couple yards to the next shop.

    Absolutely the worst shopping experience in Harpenden. On this particular day I had to enter the shop with my newborn, so decided that I would leave the pushchair outside and carry my newborn and several packages that I had to return. I made my way to the scanner, presented my QR code and printed all my labels. This then caused me to knock a few items as the space is very tight. I then made my way to the counter with some difficulty as I was carrying the baby, packages and now the labels. The screen on the scanner states that you are to hand the labels to the newsagent to apply to the parcel. On this occasion I decided to follow the prompt as my hands were full. As I was handing my third package to the newsagent (Mr Patel) he decided to tell that I should be applying all the labels and handing them to him but he would help me in this occasion as I had the baby. I explained that he wasn't doing me a favour and made reference to the machine's prompt. Long and short of it was he was very rude. He's refused to complete the transaction and cancelled any package that I had handed him prior! This was totally uncalled for and I explained to him that I had just had a c-section and needed his help. He did not care and when I mentioned this to him he informed me "That was not his problem." I did record part of the exchange but as mentioned my hands were full. I will try to take this further as there was absolutely no need for his rude and unhelpful behaviour. This whole experience has left me extremely upset.
