Miss Happiness
Just moved into a NCH home and starting to regret it. I have a number of chronic illnesses, autoimmune illness and breathing problems. I have been sleeping in a bedroom for 3 weeks with HUGE gaps, you can put your fingers through there. The handles don't work well and with my bad hands it's hard to open/close. I had an appointment made which was made to fit around the school run. The worker arrived today (14th March 2023) during the school run so of course I have missed it. I nowhave to wait another week for another appointment even though I have had to double up on medication due to not being able to breathe properly due to my chest being bad and even worse no thanks to these people not doing their job and fixing broken things. I am not a moany person but my goodness, I feel like taking this to South Wales argus! It's pure neglect.

Been on the waiting list for nearly 2 years waiting to be housed, keep being told to look for private accommodation which is unbelievable as I have a looked after child through social services and newport city homes have a duty of care to make sure we are housed but they have done nothing and advised us to wait for bailiffs to come and remove us very poor service absolute unbelievable

Newport City Homes workers came into my place of work for breakfast a few weeks ago. They were demanding, rude and abusive- constantly looking down at all of us workers and expecting a 3 person workforce to be able to carry 20+ plates and drinks at once, even though they specified a 12 person table. i’m honestly disgusted by the representation they have given for the company. Specifically Deb Loader and her team. You should be ashamed.

What a joke, phoned up about a leak and told it would take a week, plus they serviced our boiler a couple of months ago and a few days later it was leaking water and left damp patches on front room wall, you may as well call Ronald McDonald.
