Deboroah made our stunning cake for our wedding at the end of May this year and the whole process with her was a dream. She was always willing to jump on a call or meet in person to discuss design and details and the finished result was spectacular! Three tiers of delicious cake beautifully decorated in rice paper! All our guest raved about how tasty it was. She also liaised with the florist as well to arrange the right flowers for our cake so it was one less thing for us to have to worry about. I would highly recommend Newington Cakes to anyone wanting a beautiful and delicious cake at their wedding!

I first sampled Deborah's wedding cakes at a friend's wedding in 2019 and was blown away by how delicious they were. So when planning my own wedding, I knew that I wanted to work with Deborah. She specialises in beautiful bespoke cakes, which meant she was flexible and creative. She arranged cake samples for us to try (which were all delicious!) and really listened when we explained what kind of cake we would like. Throughout the planning process, Deborah was professional, friendly, helpful and informative, giving great suggestions. In the lead up to the day, Deborah was so kind and patient as last minute changes cropped up. On the day itself, Deborah set up our cake perfectly, and we had so many compliments not only on how it looked, but on how delicious it was. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her to anyone. This is the cake lady you need in your life!! We met Debrough at another venue we was chatting about cakes, and what we would like as a cake. 3 tear cake with mini cupcakes, was what I was thinking, but in the wisdom of Debrough she suggested that a tray bake for the evening guests would be better, in that moment we knew we had met the cake lady that knew what we wanted! And wow what a cake it was. to the point there was none left! I think people was going up for 3rd and 5th helpings, the days after the wedding people was talking about the beautiful wedding cake and how rich the flavours was, It’s a year to date since the wedding 16th of Aug and I asked Debrough to make us a little mini wedding cake (as we didn’t really get any last year) and she has out done her self yet again!! This is the cake lady you need in your life!!

We wanted a very nontraditional cake for our marriage, exceptionally unique, tasty & to be loved by all our guests. We discussed our needs with Deborah & she arranged a tasting for us. On our special day, her 3 different & unique tiers were decorated onsite with fresh butter cream & fresh seasonal berries whilst our wedding vowels were exchanged. Deborah made us the most stunning cake! We could not have been happier with the whole experience of getting our wedding cake made by Newington cakes. At our initial consultation Deborah was so friendly. Neither of us are the most creative but Deborah was happy to demonstrate a variety of ideas that we could have and give us so many suggestions to help us decide on our perfect cake. In the months before the wedding Deborah was extremely proactive in making sure everything would be perfect and and run smoothly on the day. On our wedding morning Deborah set all the cake up in plenty of time and ensured it was arranged perfectly. The flavours were amazing considering we had catered for a lot more than the number of guests we had the entire cake was eaten. All our guests commented on how gorgeous and delicious our cake was. I would honestly not recommend anyone else to make such an amazing cake and deliver such an amazing service. Thank you Deborah so much.

Deborah did our naked Wedding cake and it was absolutely fantastic! The cake was delicious and decorated exactly as we asked. She delivered it during the evening for us and set it up without us even realising! All of a sudden this perfect cake just appeared in the middle of our room! Lots of guests commented on it and all the take home boxes went, with only a little bit left for us to take home and enjoy after the wedding!
