this is the worst education establishment in newham by a long shot- this sixth form has no concept of safeguarding or making students feel heard or listened to in any capacity. i am unsure if this review will even stay up as the last review i added here was taken down. i studied as part of the first cohort and had one of the worst education experiences that will stay with me ever since. i cannot stress just how unsafe of an environment this sixth form is - the headteacher laughed when i told him that i wanted to transfer as he made me uncomfortable. he created a system of hierarchy where if you become close to him or friends with him, you will get support in return. an education system should not operate in this type of transactional sense. articles since have lauded the fact that this sixth form is helping the “disadvantaged youth” of newham. a sixth form that requires you to have had 5 A*s to A’s is not a place that nurtures young talent. instead it crushes young people and churns them out in a horrifying way. the deputy head at the time also breached duty of care safeguarding duties & this i will never forget. i hope if any prospective students are reading this - please do not study here and instead go to a local college or comprehensive - this is not an institution that will help further your goals or even help you in any capacity. i wish i could forget the 2 awful years i spent here but unfortunately it will never leave me. please do not go here.

Academically one of the best schools in the area with top quality teachers. They also provide support to help you get into Oxbridge, as well as having dedicated programmes for Law, Medicine, Engineering and Finance. It is a shame they do not have PE/Sport or many extra curricular activities.
