Got seen by the nurse on time. She explained in detail what I required and gave me information on what to avoid eating abroad and basic hygiene rules to maintain. Would definitely recommend the travel clinic to anyone in need of vaccinations.

An uncomfortable experience, and I would not recommend this place. I had to use this place as I wasn't registered with a GP yet having recently moved to Birmingham. The "surgery" is in a run down serviced office type building, with a dirty, uncomfortable waiting room, with what I can only describe as "dodgy" looking people coming in and out....patients or not I have no idea, but I was relieved when finally called after a lengthy wait (so much for appointment times). The doctor was very cursory, and for £70 I would have expected a more thorough appointment, but it seems the money is the main thing here. I have since found a much better private practise, and would urge anyone to do likewise and not waste your money here.

Worse than the NHS, don't bother. Not the "private GP" experience you might expect. If you are still here after you have experienced the "charity shop" style rickety furniture, colour blind decor, dog eared magazine pile and snotty receptionists, then it is possible that the doctors are ok, though my recent experience suggests they are worryingly lacking in ethics and common courtesy. Having visited for a tooth infection, I called up for an urgent repeat prescription. When I hadn't heard back some five hours later I started to get concerned. The Doctor did finally call back only to tell me that I had been rude to his receptionist who had been with him for 10 years, and he therefore wouldn't provide the treatment. Having called him from my work phone I was able to email him the conversations, showing that I had been polite and courteous, and showing that his receptionist was not being truthful. The response? Nothing. Not even a reply. I wouldn't trust a doctor who shows such poor judgement.
