We have been lucky enough to get married at Newburgh Priory twice! On 26 June 2021 we had a lovely intimate ceremony with immediate family due to covid restrictions and on 16 July 2022 we were able to share the gorgeous Newburgh Priory with all our family and friends. Words cannot describe what a beautiful and special venue this is - everywhere you turn is stunning. It was the first venue we visited and we fell in love straight away but thought we should look at some other venues too. None of them came close! The flexibility Newburgh Priory offers for your day is amazing and Paul was so helpful throughout the planning process. All of our guests have commented on what a beautiful venue it is and it will always have a special place in in our hearts. Thank you everything Paul and everyone at Newburgh Priory! I loved leading a wedding ceremony at Newburgh Priory, the ruined abbey was a very dramatic ceremony space and looked beautiful during the ceremony. The walls sheltered us and meant that everyone could hear the ceremony, in spite of being outside. We had the drinks reception in the house, which was lovely and would have been a great ceremony space had it rained. Fortunately it was a beautiful day and the indoor space hardly got used, as we enjoyed drinks on the terrace! As a wedding celebrant I get to work in all sorts of beautiful spaces, but this has been one of the most unusual!
