This seems to be the main place that the trains are kept, there is also a cafe, an area explaining the heritage railway history and a miniature railway set up. This particular station also has some play areas for the little people to blow off some stream of their own! We really enjoyed travelling on the heritage railway, and we even stopped by again on a separate day to watch the steam engines leave for the day! Very much recommended by all the family!!

For a small tourist rail line it's one of the bigger and better ones. The cafe is ok and there's two small play areas as well as the 13 trains running in and out of here

The main hub for the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway, New Romney station is the place where the first trains depart from in the morning to Hythe and Dungeness, and where the last trains arrive. It is at New Romney, where the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch railway keep their locomotives and a great spot to see which ones are being used on any particular day. In addition, there is a restaurant, small gift shop, exhibition on the railways history and a model train exhibition as well with a large scale working layout and resident "rat" that runs along the tracks at time. Some of the exhibits are interactive and either lights can be turned on or some trains made to move. For the adult model railway collector, there are also the various scales of models railway trains available. The best ticket to get is the Romney Rover ticket (£24 at time of review) This allows passengers to hop on and off the train at various stops, although some are request stops. There is ample parking on site, with disabled/wheelchair access, and even carriages for wheelchair users, along with ones for push chairs. All in all, it is well worth the visit for adults and children alike.
