I’m giving this 1 star because my child hasn’t even moved in yet, we are in the application process, paid a deposit and need to verify her ID. However we have an issue with her ID and need to speak with somebody. Their customer service has been appalling it’s not existent. They don’t reply to our phone messages or our emails. We have made numerous attempts to contact them and the Head Office with no response from either. Today we received an automatic generated email to say that if she does not verify her iD within 1 week, she will lose her place. I can’t believe the lack of communication and concerns me greatly about her moving in. On reading some of the other reviews here it seems that there is a genuine problem with the company and how they treat their tenants. I’m editing this because after copying the head office into the emails I have finally made contact with the halls manager. They did say they hadn’t received my previous emails. However that doesn’t explain why they did not reply to my voice messages or my daughters emails. The issue has now been resolved.

Since August i have tried to claim my £300 that I am owed from this place however still have not received it. After being told several times from the area manager and the on site manager (I have bundles of proof) that I will get it, they are now ignoring me regarding this and have cut off all contact with me. Please do not live here unless you want to be put in a position where you have to take legal action against the company like me.

Avoid at all costs. Where to begin with this place. Building work has been going on for months now, which started with no notification from the staff whatsoever. Extremely loud drilling and hammering starts every day barring sunday at 8 A.M., and has continued for months, through exam season and further. What's more, scaffolding has been put up DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF OUR WINDOWS, and at one point I woke up to one of the builders staring at me as I slept. Security is an absolute disgrace. At one point during the year there was a man who broke into the building multiple times, usually drunk, and walked round the building, slept in the communal areas, and once, very disturbingly, walked up to my girlfriend in the lobby late at night and asked if they lived alone. He broke in multiple times over the course of a few weeks before the issue was finally fixed. Management claims, and is claiming, that "security measures have been taken" since this but that is a lie. Still, the building DOES NOT have 24 hour security, or even a 24 hour receptionist, as management apparently deemed this would be "too expensive". Maintenance is also disgraceful. When I moved into my flat, the shower in my bathroom didn't have a shower head (the shower was essentially just a pipe sticking out of the wall). I made multiple people within the building's management aware of this multiple times over the 9 months I've been living here. To this day, it hasn't been fixed. If you thought this couldn't get any worse, I haven't mentioned the data breach yet. Apparently, an ex-staff member downloaded every resident's details (including banking information) and potentially leaked/sold it. Great. On top of this, as there's no 24 hour receptionist, there is no one to check and turn off the fire alarms in the event of a false alarm. Because of this, there have been multiple times when someone has been cooking and set off their smoke alarm accidentally, leading to the whole building having to evacuate and WAIT OUTSIDE until the fire brigade arrive to do it themselves. Also, parcel collection is simply an honour system. When there is a receptionist (once in a blue moon) they don't verify whether a parcel is yours, they just let you walk up and take whatever you want. I've had an expensive necklace that I ordered stolen this way. After all this, we've each been offered a measly compensation of £100 "for our trouble". Absolute insult of an offer. Disgraceful from top to bottom. I'd swear if I could but it'd probably get this review taken down.

soooo bad!!!! Woke up every morning by the odious sound of decoration, and the complaint letter has no effect. This apartment only wants to make money, regardless of the experience of the occupants.

Literally just don't live here. We all had our data breached and they've done nothing about it. There's been building work for like 4 months that we were not notified about and they also don't care about working early in the morning or late at night. There are also many intruders due to the lack of the 24 hour security that was promised. On one occasion a man slept in the games room and sat with residents until police arrived. Residents had to phone the police because there was no security! So safe!🙃 Also the first floor just smells like fish and none of the washing machines work. The one positive, is that there will be lots of other unsatisfied residents that will complain with you! All the reviews that say that they had a positive experience and that "Anna" is helpful were written because she asked people to write them. She has been fired. Please ignore them x
