Lovely hospital would advise anyone that isnt happy with theyre consultant unfortunately i had the misfortune with one particular person advised to email complaint and within a couple mins i had him changed to mr evans lovely man but unfortunately couldnt do anything else so ive been transfered to the wessex spinal unit iin Salisbury

My daughter has been a patient at New Hall and I couldn’t fault it. She had a back operation 2 years ago and she is due to have a revision next week. I have every faith in Mr. Matthew Stenning the consultant who is going to do my daughters back operation and the staff who work there.

My husband was due surgery at 14:30pm but unfortunately this got pushed back, I got frustrated as I hadn't heard anything at 17:30 spoke to receptionist who said he was out of theatre in recovery room. 18:35 the receptionist found out exactly what was going on due to frustration on my end and by 19:00 I was able to see him then we were able to go home! The only criticism I have is there was no where to get food or drink at the hospital and nearest shop was a good 10 minute drive and the communication wasn't the best! Otherwise the staff were lovely!

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with my recent overnight stay. After surgery my room wasn’t ready for nearly 2 hours so had to wait in recovery, when finally taken up to my room around 7pm bearing in mind I hadn’t eaten all day all I was offered were 3 biscuits until the following morning which I was finally given 2 cold slices of toast. The ward was very noisy during the night so didn’t get much sleep. For the money I would of expected a better quality of service.

I've had one procedure there and am scheduled for another one. Wouldn't consider going back except a consultant I rate highly works there. Appalling communications (starting with never answering the phone) and utterly chaotic administration of private patients. Extortionate pricing, don't handle disabled clients well (which is a shame/odd given they have a lot of spinal patients). Avoid if you can!

Thank you for all the doctors and nurses who took care of me to recover after the operation and after 5 years are very well and I no longer have any problems.
