If I could give zero stars I would. My husband and I paid extra to check in an hour earlier due to timing issues, however, the woman who checked us in turned up at 2pm, and by the time she had unlocked everything and got us checked in we were already running behind. Not to mention the fact that the lodge is supposed to be manned from 2pm to 7pm but they didn't even spend 2 hours in reception before leaving, and had the audacity to accuse other patrons of being at fault for arriving at 4:30pm, dispite it being well within the check-in times. The room was okay, away from the main road and clean, walls are paper thin and we could have a conversation with the guests in the next room at normal voice volume, but the mattresses are awful, one side was ridiculously sunken in the middle and not fit to sleep on by any means. Completely overpriced £99 for one night!! Avoid like the plague and stay in the Premier Inn instead!

Not impressed in the slightest. Firstly, check in was stated to be from 3 till 7. We turned up at 4.30pm to no one being there. I rang the number provided and was answered by a woman who sounded like she had better things to do than to help a guest. She informed me that she had already sent me a text with the information to get in which I had not. She proceeded to tell me that she had and that I must have missed it. I hadn't received anything. Finally got into the room and then the bed sheets where dirty/stained, the towel was stained, the bathroom was moldy and fousty smelling and the room just wasn't finished with missing door knobs and a broken shower head. But there was no one there to complain to, convenient! Don't recommend.

Rooms: Lots of tech and extras available in the room. Plenty of plug sockets. Food & drinks: Vending machine in the lobby and a great Indian restaurant next doors. Noteworthy details: Sat nav told us it was on the opposite side of the road down a lane but it was just off the main road. There is a local pub just up the road from it.
