1st visit (Fri 19 May). Enjoyable light bite in bustling cafe with outside seating (most undercover). Took in the pretty garden walk (£2.50pp); a little early for the lavendar.

New Forest cafe just away from the main road and quiet. Popular with local mums most tables booked. Clean and smart nice cakes and bacon butty. Coffee cafetier style tea good options. Prices up there for the tourists. Nice overall though . Will go again. Lovely nursery plants and lavender etc...

Beautiful cafe rooms with delicious food! I had the pea and mint soup which came with crusty bread and local butter. There's a wonderful selection of cakes including many lavender based ones, such as lavender scones and shortbread. There is even lavender tea. The gardens are beautiful even at the beginning of spring and I'm looking forward to coming back in the summer when it's in full bloom. Make sure you book a table as they're very busy at lunchtimes!
