Did a pottery class with my partner for Valentine's Day, and what a wonderful experience this was. Filipa was so patient with us as we were complete beginners, but it was lovely to make something usable and see the before and after of it, what a sense of achievement 💪🏼 We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to try a new activity!

I booked Filipa’s class as a birthday present for my boyfriend. It was such a fun and interesting and insightful 2 hours. Her instructions were very clear and when we all sat down we both were able to make a few good pots! I wasn’t so good and centring my clay but Filipa helped me lots otherwise I doubt my pots would’ve been so good. A very therapeutic class with music and lots of time to practise would recommend the 2 hours session to anyone who wants to give it a go. The pots we picked up were glazed lovely and they’re so special for us to remember our class! Thankyou!

I did the four week wheel-throwing course with Filipa and it was beyond brilliant. Filipa is an incredible teacher and the small group setting means you get loads of really specific feedback and support. You're learning in a working studio so you get an insight into life as a potter and the many processes needed to turn a lump of clay into a finished pot. If you're looking for something more comprehensive than a quick intro, this is an amazing class.

Went to a pottery class with my sister and I loved it! Quite close to the city centre, and the studio itself was so cosy and artsy. Filipa explained the process and technique thoroughly while allowing us to be creative with our pieces. Overall it is a great place to go whether you wish to unwind or have a laugh with a friend over their (or your!) wonky pots!
