I remember it opening in 1995/6? Live in Leeds and never been until today. Free entrance but book to be sure and very interesting. They started the old west week today and its informative and reasonably showy especially for free. The museum is interesting with all the weaponry and information, good talks and a wild west shoot out at high noon, good, passionate people. Friendly informative staff, I highly recommend. Worth the trip.
