If relaxed camping your game, then this is for you. Fantastic, informal site with acres of land to use. Small on-site cafe for the use of campers. No electric hook up, but decent showers and washing up area. There's only one rule: Do not annoy your fellow campers - why can't every other site post this on the door!

Everything about Nethergong is great. There are few campsites whose owners take the kind of care that Christine, Jed and the family do. Always friendly, the facilities are some of the best. Having a hot shower is a dream. The pizza nights are heaven sent, especially when you’ve just set up and want to collapse in front of your campfire. The trees and spaces are all lovely, well cared for and it never feels crowded even at capacity. Everyone who goes knows the deal and are really respectful and kids get to be kids in nature!! A rare gem of a place.

Love this place! We’ve been here quite a few times over the years with our friends and our children. They’re all adults now, but they love it too and we just had a great weekend with over 20 of us all together in bell tents, camper vans and tents. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. We ordered 18 pizzas on Friday night, and they were all ready on time - hot and delicious. As always, we had plenty of space for our group to spread out. Yes, the toilets can be a bit of a walk, but if the trade-off is plenty of space and peace and quiet, that was fine by us. Im surprised to read some people were troubled so much by mosquito bites. We had a few between us but no more than in any other outdoor location. We feel lucky to have been able to stay in this beautiful, peaceful part of Kent. Thanks Nethergong! We hope to return soon.

This is an absolutely brilliant camp site and it has got better every year that we have returned. From rowing boats around the lake and watching the frogs in the pond to playing ping-pong on the table in the woods we all had a brilliant time, yet again.
