I spent a fantastic day at Nelson & Forge making sneakers as part of a company away day. Steve was a brilliant host and a knowledgeable teacher, taking his time with us all and keeping us fuelled with cups of tea and chocolates! The shop is in a beautiful part of Clevedon, and the experience has been brilliant. I would thoroughly recommend it.

What does a crafter or sewer do on a weekend ??? SEW of course 😂! What a great day out in a lovely area of Clevedon with Steven at Nelson and Forge. The sneaker workshop runs from 10 till 4 and gave me not only an enormous pride in my finished sneakers but the confidence I’ve learnt a skill I can do again. Working in the beautiful surroundings that is his shop I got to choose my leather and whilst being supplied in chocolate biscuits and tea I produced my masterpiece. Thanks Steve I feel Christmas presents ticked off all over the place and lots of happy feet 😊
