I have come a couple of times now to Neil Maclean to get my hair cut. For reference, I have Afro-pean hair that is very curly. I have been to the branch in Bruntsfield and to the one on Frederick Street. If you have curly hair yourself, you may share an anxiety about getting your hair cut at a salon that I have had. I called ahead both times as I knew I was going to come in for hair cutting services both times and I wanted to make sure it was okay that I had curly hair. They simply just said, "Yep, that's fine. Come in." On both occassions I had my hair cut wet, which made me a little anxious but, on both occassions, my haircut came out looking beautiful. Trust the pros! Neither time did they force me to have my hair straight in order to cut it. My curls are more bouncy now that the dead ends have been cut off and I feel more bouncy too. Both times, the stylist at Bruntsfield and Frederick Street have given me amazing service, never made me feel like my hair is a problem, and have delivered amazing results. I will continue to come back to Neil Maclean whenever I am in Edinburgh for my hair cut and trim services.
