Very helpful and swift as well as empathetic I can’t praise them enough for how efficient and professional they were Thank you

Haven't had issues with them for over six years or so. Until recently. I hadn't been seen for a general checkup since before COVID started, for obvious reasons. I called on a friday to ask if I could get an appointment for one, and a document printed out that I needed - of a condition I had. I was told they do same-day appointments so I should call the date I'd like to maybe run down. It was late friday, so I left it till monday. Monday I call back and *now* I'm told they don't do appointments at all (What is your point then?) . The receptionist in question was astoundingly radiating an unwillingness to do her job in every single facet possible. I couldn't get an appointment, she couldn't find me for minutes on the system, then was told I "only" have a mild version of my thing, and that I'd need a new X-ray done as it's been 5 years. I said great, I'd like to get an appointment for that (as well) - nah...naaaahhhhhh no. Okay...well...I need this paper printed out of my diagnosis anyway, can I just collect it or will it be mailed or.. Oh no use this service on Neetside's side that's *fifteen pounds* at least to have a piece of paper printed. Are you HIGH? Very unimpressed and quite angry right now, this is obstructure and can - and will be - very dangerous when a patient with more immediate needs tries to phone them up and is bounced off like I have been. Didn't think to ask for the receptionist's name I was so shocked. Will call again soon and see if the lazy one answers so I can get her name out of her... If Neetside managers see this : You have a receptionist problem. You definitely do. [Nurses are lovely and most of the doctors are quite nice too!] Edit : Called again. Immediate pickup, friendly, helpful lady answering my questions, giving information and trying to do her job. This is what I would normally expect, further cementing whomever the first part of the review was about as a large problem. Between an utter reluctance to do her job and being *lied to*, that first person simply does not deserve to have her job still. Hats off to the lovely person I spoke to on the phone just now, and thank you for your help ♫

Fat receptions that cannot be bothered to answer the phone as they are too busy gossiping about patients . Nightmare to get even a phone appointment much less any "help" . Registered with Stratton Surgery instead as they are more professional .

Disgraceful. The surgery failed to contact us even though vulnerable and shielding regarding the flu jab. When I spoke to them I was informed they have NO flu jabs left and the receptionist was highly unhelpful about next course of action or where else to try.

The telephone appointment arrangements are a disgrace. They make it harder to get through by making people have to keep ringing until there is an appointment available that morning/afternoon. You can't just ring and book an appointment. Utter madness.
