  Steve and Jason fitted a number of windows for us today, they were brilliant. The windows look great, Steve had to fit a lintel which was in a tight spot. It also looks great. Would I recommend them definitely, all my windows are Needhams. The original windows were installed by Needhams circa 35 years ago and we chose to replace them for security rather than wear and tear. Good product.

  Paul, the salesman, Kelvin & a couple of workmen (Dave & Steve) are the gems of this company. But unfortunately the owner & particular workman are not up to scratch. A list of issues: 1) said workman huffs & puffs because the job is going to take longer on a day he’s arranged for his wood burner to be serviced. Our issue? No! 2) same workman pulls off a shelving unit with a crow bar - off a solid brick painted wall. 3) same workman uses our Le Crueset kettle to fill his van water tank up outside & carelessly places it on the tarmac. 4) He also refused to fit the cat flap. Which eventually got fitted 6 days later. 5) They didn’t finish off sealing around the window. It was another chap who came later who resolved this. His name was Dave. Phenomenal guy. 6) He refused to walk the rubbish etc around the back because it was too far. Albeit it only one neighbours garden to walk through. 100 yards max. So he trailed it through the house. On a brand new carpet. 7) the owner told my husband the kettle issue was trivial etc. 8) the owner told my husband when my husband believed they spoke last week about said issues, that my husband is lying & he didn’t speak to the owner. We can only go on the phone call he received, and the caller saying his name (the owners name). Not our issue. 9) Scratches on both doors, back door lock not fitted properly, scratches on the front door handle, lacking sealant & other finishing touches. Granted some of these have been resolved & some are due to be resolved next week. Now some of this may be “trivial” to you as the owner of the company. But to us, your customer, it is not. A customer going back 15 years may I add. We work hard as I am sure you do, to acquire things in our own home. We don’t expect them to be used by workmen or ripped off the wall. We don’t expect to being paying thousands of pounds for a workman to make us feel as though we are putting him out & we are an inconvenience. We don’t expect the owner to be nonchalant about issues we raised. We will be paying you today, the full amount. At no point have we expected compensation in way of monetary value. But we have expected the decency to respond to our concerns with compassion & kindness. I could list a long list of friends who have used Needhams over the years, not to mention us being repeat customers. Unfortunately, we won’t be using you again. I’m sure you won’t notice though. But we’d both like to take this opportunity to thank Paul Taylor, Dave, Kelvin & Steve for going above and beyond and for being kind to us. Also the doors themselves despite issues are lovely & warmer. Aesthetically pleasing too. Mr & Mrs Rennie Fitting date Friday 20th January 2023. Location Shepshed.

  Delighted with our new roof.added to the conservatory built by Needhams 5 years ago. It makes the room an all year round usable area after the heatwave last Summer and very cold days last Winter. Many thanks for a good job well done. Particularly thanks to Jonas and Jamie who went above and beyond for all their help and careful work. Happy to recommend. .

  I have had composite door and windows fitted by Needhams and I am now getting two more windows done as well. The quality of the door and windows is off a high standard and the quality is right up there. I am so pleased I choose this great double glazing company which is the best in Leicestershire by far. The most great thing about Needhams is there service department who deals with any issues with the fitting and glazing. The after care service is the best by far. I am so glad I choose Needhams and looking to get even more glazing work done from them. This is the company to go to if your after high standard off glazing and after care. I would not use any other so called company and Needhams is the one by far. Thank you Paul sharma

  Bought windows and doors in 2013. With the 10yr guarantee I've had them out three times to adjust or minor repair of locks. Came out fixed the issues without hesitation. At the time they were the most competitive too.

  Do not use, poor company, make promises they can't keep, even the quotes given are not correct and then don't take responsibility for there own errors. They then just don't turn up to finish the job. They are messy always late and can't even leave you your keys for your doors.

  Poor aftercare from Needhams, poor quality of materials and fitting. Already starting to come out of fittings and fitters damaged the conservatory. Despite a recent build and having a 10 year warranty, Needhams have refused to put it write, pay that little more and get quality. Don’t make the same mistake as me

  Please Avoid. Awful company, poor quality materials, fitters cracked the PVC, yet Needhams refuse to put it right, and are attempting to charge £300 for this, fittings are already falling apart. Avoid and go to a respectable company
