My mother was pressured into this. Like some other reviews the man was here until 23:30 at night and didn't plan on leaving until the contract was signed, to which he didn't read the terms to her. It felt very dodgy and now they won't answer or call back for a refund. Will be going to trading standards very soon about this.

The phone call had a person that took half an hour of my time up to get someone to turn up the same day. I only accepted to see if they would beat my quote and even showed them it when the sales person arrived. Nice chat at the start most of these solar and Battery guys deal with average Joe's but I deal with similar stuff as my day job and I also have fickle requirements. Nice chat ran on for too long really and then the survey and quote side was taking too long. Got to 9 30pm and I'd had enough and so had my housemate. This sales person was too pushy to make a sale in this single meeting. I told them at the end I'd need to sit and take it all in and make the calcs needed to assess the situation but he pushy and sadly my housemate was upset about the time of night this was still going on, to which he responded in a way that wasn't good for the situation. All in all don't push for same day sales when people say multiple times they aren't and need to think. My housemate was close to calling the police. Edit for next day update The man return even after I called head office to cancel it all and they had the cheek to ask for the £40 booking fee. I had called them 2 hour before his newly expected arrival time and told them the whole situation and told them if he turns up he will have the police called on him. Once here he tried to collect the money and an argument started he called his boss and this guy is worse than him and more aggressive. The police were called and a case was logged against them. The saga continues.

Passive aggressive sales/consultant representative. Appointment was at 630pm. When asked to wrap up and leave at 9:15pm, he argued and didn't move. I had to say repeatedly it is an unreasonable time to be discussing business and you can converse with A at a reasonable time. He just argued back at me. Which left me in tears and I was considering phoning the police. It should not have to be said, but if a person tells another person to leave their property they should do so. Your representative was ignoring my request, sarcastic and hostile. Additional, a survey should not have taken 3hrs. Especially when other renewable companies take up to an hour. In summary it was a stressful and uncomfortable situation to be put in, in my own home.

I was unfair to this company who had our installation dumped into them. They were sometimes let down by suppliers and unreliable sub contractors. To turn our installation around in the time it would have taken was nothing short of miraculous. Keaton was very helpful in the organisation, and the eventual roofer Jake was brilliant. Don't let them put John Dawes onto your job, he's always coming tomorrow. I can recommend Nationwide.
