Lovely historic building with fascinating history. Beautiful walled garden at the rear of the house. Cafe is good for tea, coffee, cake or lite bites. Good value for money.

A really lovely experience. The gardens are lovely to walk around and smell the spring flowers. We are national trust members so this was an unexpected find. The tour lasted over an hour and there was only 8 of us on the tour so it felt very intimate and questions you had could be answered. The guides were very down to earth but also really knowledgable. Definitely allows you to connect with the area.
