Great time following in the steps of Tiger who came for tea - set in a beautiful garden. Next time we'll bring our National Trust membership cards so that we can go into the garden for free. The children loved doing the rubbings if the different tea time treats. There's a wonderful carrousel at the entrance and near the car park a really fun adventure playground. We popped into the shop where we got a few pocket money toys and snacks.

Stunning beautiful grounds and stately home, which wasn’t open (mid April), there is also Old Tatton Hall, which also wasn’t open and checking the website for access and any other issues is advised. The Japanese Garden which is regarded as one if not the best in the UK is only open for access on certain days. Cafe not up to usual NT standards, pending the weather I would recommend packing a picnic and grab a bench overlooking the Great Lake, the estate shop sells some exceptional produce and is well worth checking out. National Trust members obliged to pay for parking (£8 April ‘23) Wheelchair friendly.

Pretty but extortionate, make you pay entry and car park and then for everything else inside like the train and farm park. The farm park is not part of national trust. You can't even walk round the japanese garden

If the ticket is one price for everything that will be great (or family package), currently you have to spend on different parts individually.

Advertised as nation trust, but £8 to park, £21 family ticket to walk around the smallest farm in history and hall closed due to wedding fair. Waste of a day and National trust membership!
