Very few come close to matching Lyme in terms of not only the architecture and grandeur, but also in retaining a significant amount of the original furnishings, fixtures and fittings. Lyme has one of the finest collections of tapestries to be found anywhere. And a big thank you to the staff and volunteers, who provided some facinating insights and anecdotes, which made for a memorable visit.

A great area to walk and enjoy the country side. There is also a great playground for the kids to enjoy after dragging them through the house and garden areas, and a few different Cafe options for a nice picnic.
