Hinton Apner is what you would expect from the National Trust, A lovely stately home which you can go inside, amazing grounds with well kept formal gardens with stunning views across the South Downs. Lots of different walks across several acres of open countryside if that is your pleasure or just stay within the formal part of the property. A café/ restaurant is on site, several toilets in clean condition, a shop as well as a place to buy plants etc . As a NT member it is free on enter and park your car, if not a member a bit pricey. A lovely place to visit.
