A fascinating house and beautiful gardens ( the wisteria in the walled garden was breathtaking) set in quiet countryside close to Henley on Thames. Tearoom, book nook and a well stocked plant stall were available. Watching an expert as she made new armchair chintz covers and hearing how she was continuing a family tradition and plus listening to the history of the family from a knowledgeable guide ,what treats. We had such a lovely trip there. Would definitely recommend a visit.

What an absolute beautiful place....the reason why I have only given it 3 stars : dogs are allowed, but the only place to take a poo bag is back down to the entrance, this is not an incentive to pick up !!! We had to wait 40 minutes for a coffee in the cafe !!!! It would be so much better to have an informative leaflet so that we could have all information about Greys Court while we went round. A wonderful place ...but could be better !!!
