Stunning building in acres of parkland. It's run jointly by County Council & National Trust, they're doing a good job. There's a mapped walk around the gardens, ask at the desk for a map. The website says no food but when we were there (Friday lunchtime), there was a coffee van that sold a selection of biscuits.
