Re dog poo, not just flick it off paths, PICK IT UP please, as children love to run wild. Some people rarely if ever speak so please say hello - it isn't such a big deal and we locals are generally are a friendly lot. It's a lovely place for those who haven't been yet and that tree is a great climb for kids. Mine climbed it 40 + years ago and grandchildren since. Be prepared for a cold wind though as being high up it is rarely wind free. In summer there are interesting chalkland butterflies in particular the rare iridescent Adonis Blues flitting about (June and second brood in August) Enjoy.
