Very small gardens with limited plants to see. Usual expensive National Trust entry fee with no OAP reduced fee, and for a small garden that's disappointing. Doubt will visit again, other more larger National Trust gardens worth visiting. Also none of the food was label vegan/vegetarian in the cafe so had to ask which seemed like an effort for the staff to find out what was/wasn't. It would be helpful and timesaving to label vegan options please.

Beautiful throughout the year but especially in the spring. Now in late May the bluebells and tulips have finished flowering but the azaleas and rhododendrons are still going strong. The high point at this time is the Rock Garden with the alpines a feast for the eyes.

I loved it and Emmetts is now my favourite NT property. Beautiful gardens and resources. The staff are extremely welcoming, even being ready with a treat for my dog when we entered. They even have a supply of toys for children to use free of charge. Bliss

Some parts of the garden are quite steep so might be unsuitable for people with mobility issues
