Went for the day as a friend had a holiday let in Newton by the Sea so would probably not have enjoyed such an interesting beach and the magnificent Dunstunburgh Castle on the head. Visited the famous pub which was very busy and the queue just for the beer was 15 in line. Another visit is a must as I enjoy local beer. This as a great many Crime fans know this is where 'Vera' is filmed. We are SO blessed to have such many miles of beach from South Shields travelling North far beyond Newton by the Sea. Bamburgh is another feedback.
