Lovely day out at Dunham Massey. What a fabulous place this is; can't believe we haven't explored here sooner. A lovely amble around the deer park, and the deer were so tame, we were just a few yards from them. Gardens are stunning. House is magnificent, and the staff were proactively informative about each room, and very approachable and friendly. Lovely shop and cafe ... pasties recommended. Will definitely return.

The parks around the house are delightful. However, my only advice would be to take a packed lunch with you. The cafe is so overpriced it's shameful.
