Beautiful place, worth a visit! But if you or your children have any allergies bring your own food! I asked at the café in front of the river if the vegan ice cream was gluten-free and they told me "yes". When I asked, "are you sure? My child is allergic" they checked a book for less than a minute and told me they could not find out! I'm extremely concerned that their staff answered "yes, it's gluten free" without being sure, as they could have caused my child a very severe reaction and very annoyed that they could not provide me with information that they are llegally required to provide.

Amazing place to visit where history, art and natural beauty come together in a delightful way. After a long walk around, we had a picnic by the Thames, we enormously enjoyed the spectacle of wildlife and boats pssing by. On our way out, we bought a rose grown in their gardens to keep it as a memory of a lovely day. Still, so much more to explore, we will be back.
