Well preserved Roman Villa in beautiful countryside, its a bit off the beaten track and the roads are very narrow but worth it if you into the Romans and "what did they ever do for us"

Impressive location - commanding views over the valley and good interpretations and attempts to show the villa as it was. Excellent cafe and shops as always at National Trust places and a wonderful place for a picnic. We were in time for a guide giving a presentation on the site, its history, and their future plans for archaeology. Overall a great visit of around 3 hours.
