A very interesting visit. Poor directions from Castlefield Station coming out of the city centre as you have to cross the tramlines then turn left. We were left wandering around under the Viaduct then had to climb very steep steps. Lift not working.

A beautiful place to visit. I went after the guided tours to visit, the ticket was free after 1pm! It is a great experience with informative signs, my favourite were about the nature and the feedback signs by the pond. The nature is varied with flora of historical interest, some of the naturally growing flora could be replaced as it does not look as nice. I loved the fan chairs (in the pictures) they're really comfy. There's also audio which is very relaxing, I stayed there for a long time, taking in my surroundings. I wish there was thicker foliage in places where the trams and trains are a bit louder with CO2 and NO2 absorbing plants.

Lots of potential here. Beautiful nature filled space in an urban landscape. Could do with drinking fountains or selling water like other NT sites. Friendly staff though.

The space is very good but far from finished. The guided tour was just an explanation about the project. Toilets were out of order. Very difficult to find as they are not allowed to put up signs. Best access is via metro. Do not make the mistake of moving to street level. Stay at platform level and cross the passenger walkway to the car park. Look on the floor for signs
