Not bad, not much to see at the Abbey, but the church is lovely, and so are the walks just pay for the grounds

What an amazing place. We were staying at one of the gatehouses of the estate rented from the National Trust. We took full advantage of the access to the house and grounds. Following a four year repair programme the house was opened to visitors who are now able to see Calke Abbey as it was acquired by the NT with nothing added and nothing taken away. This is a great experience for any visitor and can not be recommended too highly.

Great old mansion. Needs lots of TLC but that is part of the charm. Lots of history and a load of taxidermy on show.
