Beautiful place to watch the sunset, would definitely recommend. I didn't find the climb to be that steep, but it depends on what you're used to, I suppose.

Lovey surrounding views of East Sussex. Bit of a steep climb up but great walks once at the top. Very peaceful and plenty of wildlife to be found.

Itβs a nice little spot to walk or cycle to since itβs really close to the South Downs Way, Ditchling Beacon and Lewes. I would only recommend walking to that spot if the weather is good. The surrounding views looks nice on a clear day out. Giving it 5 stars and 9 out of 10. ππππ

My favourite viewpoint near Brighton is atop this magnificent 20 minute climb. In spring it feels like walking through jungle if you go the woodland way, or you can walk up chalk paths trodden into the landscape by shepherd's taking their sheep to graze. It is a hive for wildlife, with pheasants, rabbits, woodpeckers aplenty. In the right season you can also see glowworms here.
