Great spot to take the kids with loads of hands-on activities. Free entry with the option to donate. There is also an IMAX there, and they have a cafe and the usual gift shop. There is parking available nearby, with only a few minutes' walk.

Was a little bit disappointed with the visit, been a few years ago and there is a lot of refurbishment taking place at the moment. The retro Arcade room is looking tired and the machines still don't work now like they did a few years. I know funding and budgets may dictate the ability to keep this running, but when other attractions are in the process of refurbishment, you'd expect the ones that are available to be kept working.

5 floors of interest mixed with a 3D IMAX screen to blow your mind. Video game studio to book and play on games from 1975 onwards. Café offers cold fayre and drinks but unable to warm sausage rolls / scones sadly. Friendly and helpful staff. Need to go back as 4 hours was not long enough!
