Visited today with two teenage boys. Very fun day had by all. Actors were brilliant, you got a sense on what it must be like back in the day especially when we were in the court room, youngest volunteered to be a magistrates and loved the experience. Boys and ourselfs enjoyed the experience, staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Some excellent exhibits especially when you realise this isn't just a museum but was an actual prison and court. You are actually in the cells and rooms where many people were incarcerated and for some never left again. Definitely worth a visit and definitely recommend to anyone who hasn't been you won't be disappointed.
